I used soak on two of my wool projects for the first time. There was a chemical smell while the yarn was still wet. Is there a reason for this?

Soak does smell like a Soap, and sometimes, depending on where you are, you might have a smell in your local water. Also, if you used hand-dyed yarn, there might be some fixatives or residual smells from the dyeing process. Soak generally has a lovely scent, so I’d be curious to learn more about the wool projects (we love pictures) and other details related to your Soak! Keep us posted. -j.
